Barnwell village is again gearing up for a huge community effort. This time it’s the entertainers preparing for their next production in the Village Hall and they would like to invite you along . Many of you have supported us over the years and we look forward to welcoming you again to our latest fun night out. If you have never had the Barnwell Entertainers experience do come along for a fun night out with local friends.
The play, Drinking Habits, written by award-winning playwright Tom Smith is frequently performed in America but very rarely in this country so chances are you won’t have seen it. It is a play about the threat of a small convent closing its doors and two nuns who desperately try to keep it open by secretly making and selling wine. Accusations and mistaken identities run rampant in this belly-laughing farce …………
Most of our set builders are fresh from creating Barnwell Bonfire and again our local builder will be in charge. His sets are always amazing and he is famous for secret doors falling pictures and exploding taps! Our artist who was responsible for painting Hogwarts Express, will work his magic on the convent. A team from the village will take care of props, front of house, lighting and sound.
The dates are April 26th, 27th and 28th of April beginning at 7:30pm
Tickets £6, can be bought from Barnwell Post office, Lower farm B and B. or our Barnwell entertainers web site.
The bar will be open from 7pm and we look forward to welcoming you
