As part of Cotterstock’s Armistice Day commemorations, our local historian David Bond, who is Chair of the Oundle Historical Society, will be giving an illustrated talk “War Memorials and the Significance of the Poppy” in St Andrew’s Church, Cotterstock, PE8 5HD on Friday 2nd November at 7.00 p.m.

Angela Wright, the London based artist, is creating a commemorative installation in the Church using more than a thousand poppies knitted and crocheted by villagers. She will be at the presentation and happy to talk about her work with you.
